Avengers 3D

The Avengers movie has won the hearts of Marvel comic fans and fans that never picked up a comic book. The expectation of this movie to be made was made possible 4 years ago with probably one of the best superhero movies of all time – Iron Man. As you have seen, the film includes a number of people who were in the Marvel movies before The Avengers came out, including Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and many talented actors. Some new faces included Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye (if you didn’t see his cameo from Thor), How I Met Your Mother’s Colbie Smulders as Maria Hill and of course the biggest addition to the line up, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. So did the four year hype meet expectations of its fans? Well Duh!

Dark Knight Rises

Christopher Nolan has finally brought up the last installment of his dark Batman trilogy with The Dark Knight Rises. 4 years since Christopher Nolan impacted the world with his critically acclaimed The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises doesn’t come up to the intensity or the creativity of its predecessor however it comes up as a strong finisher for this series. Though I did enjoy the movie,  it wasn’t without a few flaws.

Looper SURPASSES all expectations!

Looper

First watching the trailer I thought it was going to be a simple shooter chaser movie with some time traveling twists. Looper starring JGL (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), Bruce Willis and surprisingly Emily Blunt, is a sci-fi thriller where an assassin has to kill his future self that was stuck in the past. Looper itself is not as simple as that.

Why so Serious?!?……ly Amazing

Dark Knight

Do I honestly need to explain to my audience why this movie is amazing? ….according to my boss I have to….So I’ll tell you! The Dark Knight is the second installment of Christopher Nolan’s series and has made a bigger and darker mark on the superhero genre of film than Batman Begins did. At the end of of the first movie when we found out that the Joker was going to be the new villain in this next chapter everyone was wondering on how the Joker was going to be portrayed in this film given that the last movie had darker tone than any other Batman movie in the past. When the trailer for this movie came out we had a glimpse of what the Joker would be like…zomg!

The Legend Begins with Epicness

Batman Begins

At this present time and being able to grow up with some action figures I am proud to say that one of my coolest action figures and favorite tv series was anything that involved Batman. Batman Begins was the first live-action Batman Movie to be put on the silver screen in 8 years since that god awful excuse for a superhero movie Batman & Robin which came out in 1997. From the trailer alone you can tell this movie was going to be darker than Tim Burton’s 1989’s interpretation of Batman. I’ll admit, when this movie came out back in 2005, I was not excited for it, because originally I thought, its been done…Then I saw it on the TV….boy was I wrong.
